I've had an interesting past two days where I met the co-founder of N***. It was a really clean app and the guy seemed cool, smart and quiet. And nervous as fuck. I got into some research with him and what he does is simple, efficient but it eludes me why people would want it. Series A funding etc. Still. And then some other people who I'd rather not talk about but nevertheless, mistakes that I still make but handle much better. It makes me wonder what the difference is between him, R****** and me are to be in the places we are. He was there when he did it. Oh, well. More on clarity later.

The tourism industry is booming with hosts who really understand what they need, who take it to the next level in terms of ambience. I'm talking ambience, food, music, books, cleanliness, hospitality. I could talk about each aspect in depth but you know me. Some take it overboard but some get it right. ZAC was a nice place to light one up but not the best minds around. New boys, old tricks.. Come to think of it, old boys, talk straight. Don't. Ask.

Hitting the 8-mile mark

Every 6 months or so, I stop running because honestly, I'm sick of it. I come to a point where running isn't challenging anymore. I stop for a few months, but who am I kidding. And when I start running again, my abilities increase. And this time I've hit the 8-mile mark. Aaaand it's frustrating. Because my heart rate doesn't increase, my lungs don't heave. I just sweat. I can sing, I can talk, I can do atleast one other activity when I run because :)

I need to run a solid 40 minutes at 8 - 8.5 km/hr to feel anything. And I am NOT doing that everyday. :/ And if I can't do it everyday, why even bother?

Which is why I'm lifting now. :D :D :D :D :D
